Announcement Changes coming.....

Hello everyone!

I wanted to let you know of some fun things that are about to happen for Craft Junkie Too.

I’ve had this blog since 2009 offering some of my crafty ideas and sharing lots of yours through the linky parties.  Sadly, over the past year I’ve been scarce.  Several reasons but the most importantly being crafter burn-out.  (gasp) yes, I know it’s hard to hear myself say it.  I’m a person who likes change (for those of you who have been with me awhile see that by my frequent blog graphic changes).

I am very happy to announce that in a few days I will be unveiling my whole new blog make-over including a new name and design change.

As of Monday August 19th this blog will officially be called {Country Charm} by Tracy.  I’ve taken back this name because it was my business name when I sold crafts in an online shop and at local craft shows -- (years ago I let this domain expire and someone bought it (because that’s what they do to make money) and then wanted to charge me an enormous fee to “buy” it back)no thank you - so I pushed it to the wayside.  Being that my site name wasn’t available and someone in another “country” had it on hold on it when I started my Craft Junkie Too blog I had to find a new blog name so Craft Junkie Too was born.

Fast forward to today….over the years expired custom urls are bought by other people in hopes to make money but after awhile they let them expire because there wasn’t an interest.  Score!  Therefore, my new url is  www.countrycharmbytracy.com.  The new blog is live so if you would like to go check it out to see what it looks like and update any bookmarks or link changes I’d love for you to.  My RSS feed and other things will stay the same and as of Monday anyone who types in www.craftjunkietoo.com will be redirected to the new blog.

Things may look a bit different at the new blog because I switched from Blogger to self-hosted Wordpress.   I would like to get back into selling a few of my crafts online and this design will incorporate a Shop feature (which I will let you know more about as soon as it opens within a few months).

I am so grateful for all of you no matter if you’ve been with me 1 day or 4 years.  I love you all.  The support and friendship you’ve given to me is beyond anything I could ever dream of.  I want to thank you in advance for sticking by me through this transition as I work out all of the new blogging kinks.

Thank you for reading – I really appreciate it.

See you over at {Country Charm} by Tracy ~ www.countrycharmbytracy.com

{Beverage Station} From A Baby Changing Table

Hi everyone ~ I hope you're all doing well.   ☺☺

I'm so excited to share this "repurposed" project with you.  It's amazing what a can of spray paint can do to a project.

Isn't it adorable?! I think so and absolutely love how it turned out.

I picked up this old baby changing table from a garage sale for 10 bucks several months ago.  I wasn't sure what to do with it…brought it home and it stayed under our carport for the last few months with a few of Spencer's outside toys on it.

One day, I knew I'd find a project that spoke to me.
When I spotted this repurposed project from Twelve-O-Eight's blog I knew this was it.  {love}
Spencer's toys had to find a new home.
Here is what I did.
The table had already been sanded down to expose most of the wood so it was ready for me to paint.

I used Rust-oleum "Lagoon" spray paint.  I will be honest when I say this particular project took a little bit of time to paint because of all of the spindles and various levels.  This paint is awesome and covers well.  I put two good coats on the entire table; letting each one dry in between.
I've already tried it out when I hosted a party recently.  It was admired by all.
The red felt placemats have a Santa face on the other side, I purchased them many years ago.  (sorry, I forget where I got them).  Repurposing those as well.
The wired basket on the bottom shelf is from Wal-Mart.
The wooden box holding the cups and straws is from Hobby Lobby in their Rustic decor dept.
The Beverage Dispensers were purchased at Sam's.

{All About My Dad} Father's Day + Printable

Father's Day is on Sunday and if you're looking for a last minute idea I have one for you.
☺☺☺☺☺
Even though my boys have a gift for their dad I thought it would be fun for our youngest to complete this questionnaire - answering questions he thinks about his dad.  Such funny answers he has for his dad. I can't wait for my hubby to read this.
I've seen the idea all around the web so you are welcome to download this one here or search for a printable you like.  It's so fun to see what the kids come up with.  :)
